Dear honorable visitors, Here you will find the tutorial on setup of windows XP (Service pack-2 & 3). This is a very easy method of windows XP setup. You must have a ready computer for setting windows XP or windows XP (Service pack-2/3) software CD.
Step-1: At first enter the O/S CD in computer’s CD drive and restart your computer. When computer will be beginning open a new window as the image below. In the time you will give a space from keyboard space-bar.
Step-2: After that computer will automatically booting from CD. Setup will be loading the driver files that’s are needed for installation. Same as image below.
Step-3: Setup screen appears with the option of continuing Setup, Repair the previous installation or Quitting. In this time Press “Enter” to Continue Setup. Also you can choose “R” to Repair or “F3” to Quit.
Step-4: After Press Enter to Continuing setup the licensing agreement screen will open. In the moment you will press “F8” to continue setup. Also you can choose “ESC” if you do not agree.
Step-5: Below image will be seen where it show hard drive partitioning and select drive to install windows. Now you can delete any partition or create new partition. To delete partition press “D”, after pressed “D” you will press “L” then your partition will be deleted. If you want to create a new partition press “C” and give your space figure and press “Enter”.
At this time select your hard drive by up & down arrow to install windows and press “Enter”. This windows image shown below.
Step-6: Select choose able format (NTFS or FAT) by use up & down arrow key and press “Enter” to continue setup. You can also cancel by use “ESC” key.
Step-7: Setup is formatting, it may take some times. This outlook is below.
Step-8: Now setup is figuring out what files to copy over to the hard drive. The image as same below.
Step-11: Windows XP boot screen is opening..... like below.
Step-12: Installing windows will be seen, it takes several minutes.
Step-13: After some times you will be promoted with a new window as below for configuring your region and input languages. Now just click “Next”.
Step-14: When you will see the screen displayed as below then enter your name and organization and Click “Next” button.
Step-15: The displayed screen as bellow for entering of CD Key, Enter it and just click “Next” button.
Step-16: Enter your computer name and administrator password when displayed screen as bellow.
Step-17: Will be open a time zone configuring screen as bellow. Configure your proper Date, Time and Time Zone and just click Next.
Step-18: Installing windows. It’s take some time...................!
Step-19: Now Windows XP is starting up. Screen will be displayed as bellow.
Step-20: Now will open two option as bellow then just click “OK”
Step-21: Now open the screen as bellow and your windows XP setup is completed and your computer is ready for use.
